Life jackets , sun cream , barbless hooks and a 3 too one ratio and it still all goes bonkers but they all catch fish and they have a great time..

a lot of small sea trout this year again thanks to them sealice and bollocks to them drift nets on the foyle yes one draft net for research and 2 drift for the basin would be more benificial…

Need our engin sorted quickly ,<<< a man can fish 24 hours a day at the moment. Big bends on ray up to 12 pounds a thanks for dropping my unhooking gun into the tide no worries the paddies is making me forget 200 plus mackeral , some dogs up too 4 lb. and one small 3 lb. tope .All action day yesterday .

young jack caught his first tope out on the swilly. it weighed 40lb+, he struggled to play the fish but landed it eventually!! the mackeral are in the swilly now in huge numbers, which gives us more of a chance to get the tope because we can get a rubby dubby out with no hassle at all.
on the day owen got the 40lb+ tope he also played a fish for half an hour with 80lb breaking strain line…. then he handed the rod to john because he was too tired, an john played it for another 10 mins before it snapped off an they didn’t even get to see wat kind of fish it was…. (who knows could of been anything)
get on the phone to The Oaks if you want to organise a days shark fishing for you an a couple a mates.

stephen at the oaks remains adiment that this weedless frog of his is the best pike lure on the market. he has a wealth of expirience at pike fishing an i do trust his judgement. he hooked 5 five pike yesterday…. “electrifying fishing” stephen commented. the weather has never been better for this method of fishing…
