Bloodworm and small flies did pull trout today and bait anglers caught there fair share as well. One rod was pulled in and thanks for spotting that rod men as it was dragged around with a very large trout ..Was quiet with most fly anglers hooking two or three trout over the lake. No pike fishing today… Lough Swilly beat us again today as we fished again different marks with a variety of baits.Plenty of big and small fish on the finder but just not taking the bait…Next time.

John Kyle hit the Jackpot today with his personal best and the heaviest trout caught so far in 2010….Brilliant.. After loosing a trout just after five minutes fishing Bang another fish hits hard thinking four or five when it runs straight for him then stays deep and shows it’s self as to be much larger infact the sheer size then gives way to all the line flying off at speed ,,,with a shout for a bigger net… Photo shoot quickly released ..Very well done that man. Intermediate line and that booby fry which has been doing very well for him..Brilliant

13 lbs. on the booby fry
